Classroom supplies/Update for this week

I want to welcome everyone to Room 104's blog! We are very excited about this! As the year is wrapping up, we are running of out essential supplies. If you could please donate glue sticks to our classroom, that would would wonderful!!

We are studying subtraction up to 12. Students are having a very difficult time understanding subtraction.  We have learned different styles of subtraction, such as using a number line and fact families. We will rely on using the number line as a main method.  If your student would like to work on math outside of the classroom, the following links will be beneficial.

Also, the iPod Touch has excellent (free) apps for math! If you would like some of these suggestions, please let me know!
